What is BUF Maitland?

BUF Maitland is Maitland's most popular group training community, just for girls. We’re all about fun, themed workouts that will make sure you look forward to every session! We are currently running our BUF Mums sessions and will be offering our full timetable shortly - let us know you're interested by filling out the contact form below!

What is BUF Mums?

Are you craving some time to yourself to focus on your own health and fitness, but it seems impossible? Does the idea of getting some guilt free exercise and fresh air, and socializing with other Mums sound lush? Are you ready to get fit for a fraction of the cost of a one-on-one trainer in a supportive and fun environment, with babysitters on board to keep babes entertained while you workout?

It’s our mission to help empower Maitland Mums to achieve this and more! We’re so passionate about working with Mums, because some of us trainers are Mums too. We understand the challenges of motherhood, and the act of juggling everything and everyone else and never having time to take care of myself. Been there, done it!

BUF Mums is all about giving you a great workout with friends, and some ‘me’ time. The best bit? We have babysitters to watch your little ones while you do it. The added bonus is that your little one gets introduced to an active lifestyle from the start! We’re so proud to have created a beautiful, supportive community of like-minded Mums and we’d love for you to join us.

What kind of training do we do?

  • BOXING

    Get your punch on with our fitness boosting boxing classes - one of the funnest ways to get your cardio fix while toning the upper body, defining your abs and boosting cardio fitness. There are different sessions focusing on technique, cardio conditioning and HIIT training - Boxing Tabata sessions are a favourite!

  • CIRCUITS

    Our circuits are full-body, fat-blasting sessions that blend cardio, plyometrics, free weights and interval training with a serious dose of fun. Each workout is themed, from Hollywood Hot Bods to Beyonce’s Booty Maker, and we shake up the moves and structure every week to keep your body guessing and the results coming.

  • STRENGTH & TONING

    Our strength & toning workouts are cardio / running free and slower in pace. You’ll work through compound and functional movement patterns specifically designed to shape the female body. Think slower, controlled movements for maximum metabolic disturbance, lean muscle, increased tone and strength gains.

  • HIIT CARDIO

    HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is an incredibly effective way to workout. You’ll work hard for short bursts of time, using a series of cardio and plyometric moves that will skyrocket heart rate, then recover your breath before going again. This kind of training fast-tracks fitness gains and blasts fat fast.

  • BUF MUMS

    Join a beautiful, supportive community of like-minded Mums in a non-intimidating and seriously effective class to help you get your confidence back after baby. Tone up and slim down in the great outdoors! We have babysitters to watch your little ones while you do it, introducing them to an active lifestyle right from the start!

    This is perfect for those who need a little extra attention to skyrocket fitness, work on technique, or hit a specific fitness or body goal. All our trainers are experienced, well educated and caring women who specialise in getting the most out of the female body.
