Being a BUF Girl isn't about competition, body image or comparison, it's about friendship and community, healthy bodies and healthy minds, and inspiring, supporting and celebrating each other. We're on a mission to help you fall in love with fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.

I joined BUF girls Bondi a bit over 1,5 years ago. Mainly for weight loss reasons. Not only have I lost about 8-10 kg and around the same in measurements. But more importantly I have found something that I love and look forward to doing in the mornings. I have made friends. I feel more energetic and happy as a person and I actually don't feel to bad in bikini anymore. My confidence is much better. The BUF girls instructors and participants have had such an amazing impact on my life and I never want to move somewhere else where I can't be part of this crew!

I absolutely love the BUF girls and their programme and cannot rate them highly enough! Their classes are tough and whip you into shape but there are always plenty of laughs, tunes and motivation from the girls to go along with it which make them throughly enjoyable and worth the early start. I have just completed their 6 week body challenge for the second time which gives you the tools to get healthy and back on track, and the weight loss is an added bonus!

I completely and utterly L O V E sweating it out at sunrise with this amazing crew of super women. The workouts are tough, but the girls let us work at our own level - challenging us when we need it and letting us step back at other times. Everyone is so inspiring and motivating. It is never boring or repetitive. And I love all the super smiley faces I see each day. Leaving the cosy comfort of bed before dawn can be difficult, but the second I spy those BUF girls down the beach I know it’s going to be a great day!

Training with the Bottoms Up crew has not only improved my fitness but is also a lot of FUN! I absolutely LOVE these girls! I've been training consistently with them for the past 2 1/2 year and it's the only thing I've stuck to. All of the trainers are amazing, they are inspiring, fun, sometimes funny 🙂 and always smiling EVERY SINGLE MORNING! I'm not usually one for bootcamp style group fitness as I hate being yelled at. The BUF girls will challenge you and motivate you rather than yell instructions at you, which is a much better way of training in my eyes. Don't worry they will work you very hard but in an inspiring way rather than de-motivating way. Every session is different, you are always being challenged with something new. Which is perfect as I need things to be changed up to keep me interested. Training with the BUF girls feels like a community, you will be part of the Facebook group and meet lots of lovely people. I love how easy it is to book into sessions via the app and how flexible the team are if you need to change your membership. There are so many different styles of training so definitely something for everyone, and I love that each week I can mix it up depending on how my body is feeling that week. I've just started training in the Elite group, which is another option if you want to step up your training. Plus there are many additional challenges across the year that you can join. Cannot recommend the BUF team enough!!!

Joining bottoms up was the best thing I ever did! My health, my social life and my wellbeing all reached their peak as a result. Sessions are beyond fun with a bunch of inspiring women who I am now proud to call close friends. Where do we train?

Beach sessions are on the sand 100m South of the Surf Guard Tower.

Grass sessions are on the lawn 100m South of the Surf Guard Tower behind the car park.

What kind of training do we do?

  • BOXING

    Get your punch on with our fitness boosting boxing classes - one of the funnest ways to get your cardio fix while toning the upper body, defining your abs and boosting cardio fitness. There are different sessions focusing on technique, cardio conditioning and HIIT training - Boxing Tabata sessions are a favourite!

  • CIRCUITS

    Our circuits are full-body, fat-blasting sessions that blend cardio, plyometrics, free weights and interval training with a serious dose of fun. Each workout is themed, from Hollywood Hot Bods to Beyonce’s Booty Maker, and we shake up the moves and structure every week to keep your body guessing and the results coming.

  • STRENGTH & TONING

    Our strength & toning workouts are cardio / running free and slower in pace. You’ll work through compound and functional movement patterns specifically designed to shape the female body. Think slower, controlled movements for maximum metabolic disturbance, lean muscle, increased tone and strength gains.

  • HIIT CARDIO

    HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is an incredibly effective way to workout. You’ll work hard for short bursts of time, using a series of cardio and plyometric moves that will skyrocket heart rate, then recover your breath before going again. This kind of training fast-tracks fitness gains and blasts fat fast.

  • BUF SIGNATURE SESSIONS

    BUF Signature sessions will leave you feeling Beautiful, Unstoppable and totally Fearless. Ass 'n' Abs is dedicated to tightening and toning your arms and bums in a cheeky 30 min. With Tough BUF, you'll knock out sets of 3 min of strength, 2 min of cardio and 1 min of plyometric to have you feeling oh so tough in 3,2,1 😉

  • PERSONAL TRAINING

    This is perfect for those who need a little extra attention to skyrocket fitness, work on technique, or hit a specific fitness or body goal. All our trainers are experienced, well educated and caring women who specialise in getting the most out of the female body. Click here for details.
